Varuna Shetty to be the heroine in 'Rasam'

Varuna Shetty will be the heroine in Rajeev Nath’s upcoming film ‘Rasam’ which stars Indrajith in the lead role. Mohanlal will also be seen in an important role.

Indrajith dons Balu the son of a Namboothiri cook who runs a catering service. Indrajith folows his father to Dubai as a chef in charge for a wedding there. Mohanlal appears as the actor himself.

Nedumudi Venu, Mythili, Devan and Nandu are also seen in important roles. ‘Rasam’ is produced under the banner of Group Ten Entertainment.

Varuna Shetty has been launched by actor-director Shankar for his Tamil film ‘Manal Naharam’, the shooting of which is also progressing now. She is also doing the Tulu film ‘Nirel’.
