Vedalam to be remade in Telugu

Siruthai Siva’s directorial Vedalam featured Ajith and it had created a history of sorts in terms of collections. Although the critics panned the film, it went on to garner huge box office collections, thanks to the star power of Ajith.

Now this film is going to Andhra with Power Star Pawan Kalyan reprising Ajth’s role in Telugu. Interestingly Neason, the director of Vijay-Mohanlal starrer Jilla, will be wielding the directorial baton for this flick in Telugu.

AM Rathnam who had produced the Tamil version will be bankrolling this venture in Telugu and the cast and crew details are expected to be announced soon. The film began with a customary Pooja recently. Neason says that he has made a few changes in the script to suit the sensibilities of the audience there. Click the Movie button below for more info:
