Oridathoru Postman could have done infinitely better with a bit more coherence. As such, it looks confused, and keeps its fingers dipped in too many broths at once, and ultimately isn't able to savor the flavor of not even one entirely.

Ranjith manages a unique mix of satire and comedy in 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint' and it's a tight ropewalk indeed for the director to juggle between fantasy and reality. In doing so he brings down heaven as close to earth and opens up a new universe before us where God and man beautifully blend into one.

On the whole, '3 Char Sau Beas' is a big bundle of nonstarters. There is a whole lot of 'Char Sau Beas'-ness happening in the film, and the real victim is the unsuspecting viewer who has been conned to believe that he is actually watching a film.
