Vemal and Sarkunam to team up

Vemal and Sarkunam worked together in Kalavani which fetched the audience and critical acclaim. They further collaborated in Vaagai Sooda Vaa which won a National Award. After these films, both of them went on to do their respective films.

Now, they will be coming together for a film which is the sequel of their much loved Kalavani. The film will start rolling next year (2017) from February or even later than that.

Vemal sheds light on the development and reiterates, "Yes, we will be coming together for Kalavani 2. The characters will be different this time, but the story of this film will also be set in the same milieu as the first film. Sarkunam is currently writing the script of this film.
