Vemal and Vadivelu to work together

Director Suraj, who became infamous for his anti-woman statements in an interview, would be directing a venture that will witness the coming together of Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu and Vemal.

The yet-to-be titled movie has Vadivelu playing a pivotal role. Both Vemal and Vadivelu are donning khaki in this comic caper. It will be on the lines of Suraaj's earlier movie Marudhamalai with Arjun where Vadivelu’s comedy was a highpoint where the comedian was seen in a cop role. For now, only these two artistes have been brought on board for the project and the other cast and crew details will be finalized soon.

The film will go on floors in a few months’ time, after Vemal completes his ongoing K2 and Ezhil’s film. He also has a film with Vasanthamani, Majid and Bhoopathy Pandian. The Manjapai star is in the wrap stage of his upcoming movie Kanni Rasi with Varalaxmi.
