Venkat Prabhu pens a song for Chennai-28 sequel

Venkat Prabhu is currently busy with the sequel of his much popular film Chennai 28. This film features most of the cast members from the first part like Premji, Jai, Vaibhav, Vijayalakshmi, Ilavarasu etc. The film is nearing completion and would be ready for a release in September.

As per the latest report, Venkat Prabhu has apparently penned a song for the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for this sequel. It is said that there are going to be around six songs and the crew is planning to have an audio launch in the month of August.

It has to be noted that Venkat Prabhu’s dad Gangai Amaran is also known for his entertaining lyrics in his heydays and looks like his son has taken over him in this aspect.
