Venkat Prabhu plays a cop in Kalavu

Director Venkat Prabhu who announced his production venture with director Saravana Rajan has announced the cast in the form of Vaibhav, Sana Althaf, Sampath, and Premji in important roles. Touted to be a political satire, the announcement posters for the film, released by Venkat via his Twitter handle, appear to spoof the posters of political parties that announce the name of their candidates for the elections.

On the other hand, Venkat Prabhu will also be doing an important role in front of the camera, of donning an evil cop in Kalavu, a crime thriller, directed by Murali Karthick, starring Kalaiyarasan and Karunakaran in the lead, the latter playing a character role. The crew has finished shooting Venkat’s portions in the city recently.
