Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu sequel to get ready

Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu (VKK) released a few years back directed by Suseendhiran had garnered appreciation from fans and critics alike. The simple tale of village boys realizing their dream in Kabbadi hit the right notes with the public and the film went on to become a sleeper hit.

Now the makers have decided to make a sequel to the film which is written by Suseendhiran but will be directed by Shekar, an associate of the director. Lakshman who played the lead in Bharathi Raja’s Annakodi will play the hero’s role in the sequel.

Most of the cast members who were part of the VKK will also be there in the sequel. VKK ended with hero Vishnu’s death and hence the sequel will begin from that point and centre around a new person who would be brought as Vishnu’s replacement. Selvaganesh will be the music director and Madhie will be the cinematographer. The film is said to commence by the last week of April. Click the Movie button below for more info:
