Vetri Maaran to direct Rajinikanth?

Director Vetri Maaran who is busy with his Vada Chennai is said to be doing his next film with Rajinikanth as the lead. This has stirred a lot of excitement among the movie buffs.


Reports say that the Aadukalam director had narrated a story to the Superstar who had liked it a lot. And that he would begin the shoot after he completes Kaala and also Vetri, his Vada Chennai. But there are also contrasting talk going on. It is said that Kaala would be his last film and that afterwards, he would enter politics. An official announcement would soon clear the airs.


Meanwhile Vetri Maaran would be doing a Kannada film next but he will not be directing it and one of his assistants will wield the directorial baton. It is said that the script is written by Vetri and it is about four boys. Actor Kishore is said to be jointly funding the project and is also expected to play the baddie in the film. He will be doing a bad cop’s role in this yet to be titled film.
