Vidhu Vinod Chopra's next based on a novel

Filmmaker-producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra will be producing and directing his next film based on a novel. The film, titled ‘12th Fail,’ has been adapted from author Anurag Pathak's bestselling novel of the same name, and is inspired by the real life story of IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS Officer Shraddha Joshi.

Actor Vikrant Massey will play the lead in the flick. Major portions of the film have been shot in Mukherjee Nagar, New Delhi, the location that has seen the birth of generations of bureaucrats.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra is known for films such as 'Parinda', '1942: A Love Story' and ‘Mission Kashmir.’ The first schedule has been wrapped up in Chambal, Agra, and the second schedule is going on in New Delhi. The film is slated to release in 2023. Click the Movie button below for more info:
