Vijay 58 begins with a song number

Ilayathalapathy Vijay, after the swashbuckling Kaththi has moved on to his next project directed by Chimbudevan who is known for fantasy flicks. The film began recently with a song sequence that is being shot currently with Vijay and Hansika.

It has been said that a massive set has been erected in ECR where 60% of the shoot is being planned. Currently the unit is filming a song with around 200 group dancers whose dance moves are being choreographed by Raju Sundaram.

This as yet untitled film is produced by Vijay’s manager P T Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens. Kicha Sudheep plays a commander in the film while Sridevi will be a queen and Haniska, a princess. Shruthi Haasan is also in the film doing a pivotal role. After the 1st schedule in Chennai, the crew will be moving to Kerala for the 2nd schedule.
