Vijay 59 titled as Theri

Vijay’s 59th film which was till known called by a number, got a name last evening on the 25th November. Initially it was stated that the first look of the film would be revealed to the audience by midnight. But for reasons known only to the makers, the team advanced their time to last evening around 4.30 PM.

The film is titled as Theri, going by the current colloquial Chennai lingo Theri Mass indicating something very sharp and jubilant.

Theri is directed by Atlee of Raja Rani fame and has George Williams’s camera, GV Prakash’s music with Amy Jackson and Samantha as Vijay’s heroines. The first look suggested that Vijay may be playing triple roles with one as the cop, the other as the criminal and the other as an innocent intellectual. Another poster revealed a dashing Vijay trying to escape or sorts from a bomb blast. Looks like Theri will have all the commercial elements to attract the audience.
