Vijay and Atlee join hands again

Ilayathalapathy Vijay who is right now busy with the dubbing work of Bairavaa, will be directed for his next by Atlee who gave the blockbuster Theri recently. Although there were many names which were in the list of contenders to direct Vijay, looks like the Puli hero preferred Atlee.

This film will be bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films who took to their official Twitter handle to update the exciting announcement. They tweeted, “Official Announcement: Script locked today! #Thalapathy61 @actorvijay @Atlee_dir”.

Vijayendra Prasad, father of director S S Rajamouli and also writer of Baahubali and Bhajrangi Bhaijaan has scripted this flick too. With such talents coming together, one can expect an exciting product. It was also said that GV Prakash is in consideration to compose music for this venture.
