Vijay, Murugadoss to work on another project

After the immense success of Thuppakki, there have been talks in the industry circles that director AR Murugadoss and hero Vijay will be joining hands once again for a film. Later, director Murugadoss went ahead with his Hindi version of Thuppakki with Akshay Kumar in the lead. He is presently in the final stages of its production.

Now after a year of the release of Tamil Thuppakki, Murugadoss has confirmed that he would join hands with Vijay again. He wrote on Twitter, “I' m really happy and excited to convey to you all that I' m joining hands with Vijay sir once again...”

It may be noted that Thuppakki is among Vijay's highest grossers and the two were keen to team up a second time and it will be happening with the new project. It is said that Ayngaran International, producers of Vijay's Villu, will be producing this flick.

According to sources close to Vijay, the film will take off from January 2014 and Anirudh will be taking care of the music, which in all likelihood will have Samantha as the heroine.
