Vijay Sethupathi on movie reviews

The press meet of Vijay Sethupathi's Karuppan, directed by Panneerselvam of Renigunta fame happened yesterday in Chennai which witnessed the presence of the team members like hero Vijay Sethupathi, director Panneerselvam, music director D.Imman, producer A.M.Rathnam, and heroine Tanya Ravichandran.

When D Imman spoke, he said, “Vijay Sethupathi is 100% apt for the Makkal Selvan tag. I have started to love him more after seeing his performance in Karuppan. It is a one man show and his dialogue delivery is enjoyable. Vijay Sethupathi will have a very strong and a stable place in Tamil cinema.

Hero Vijay Sethupathi was asked about the reviews of films and its impact on the collections. To this question, the Rummy actor said, “Everybody is entitled to their opinion and there is nothing wrong in it. It is not going to change the final result of a movie in any way. In Karuppan, we have attempted to tell something, it is our opinion and there is nothing right or wrong. I do not know if we should take these reviews too seriously. It is just their opinions and there is nothing called right or wrong."
