Vijay Sethupathi to team with Balaji Tharaneetharan

In Vijay Sethupathi’s career, Balaji Tharaneetharan’s Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom occupies central space. The film brought in a lot of name and fame to the actor and the director. Post the film, Vijay Sethupathi got busy with many of his films and Balaji Tharaneetharan went on to do Oru Pakka Kadhai with Kalidas Jayaraman and Megha Akash but the film is yet to see the light of the day.

Now Balaji Tharaneetharan will be combining with Vijay Sethupathi for his 3rd film and a second one for their combo. The film is titled as Seethakadhi which is the name of a Muslim Tamil poet who lived in the 17th century and was known for his passion towards Tamil and also generosity. The film started today with a Pooja which was attended by many celebs.

Speaking at the occasion, Balaji Tharaneetharan said, “Excited indeed! Words of expression are few when a sort of reunion happens beyond emotional connect. Vijay Sethupathi fits himself as "Seethakathi" as his birthright. We are aware that the expectations will be very high and we are equally confident that this film will match to the expectations .This script needed a production company with passion and passion studios are here to present a film that is sure to be discussed for a long time.
