Vijay Sethupathi's film runs into title trouble

Nalan Kumarasamy’s second film after the brilliant Soodhu Kavvum, is titled as Kaadhalaum Kadandhu Pogum with Ka Ka Ka Po also as the tagline, although it strictly is not the acronym of the title.

But apparently there is also a film titled as Ka Ka Ka Po which, when expanded is Kavithavum Kannadasanum Kaadhalikka Poranga directed by debutant Vijay. He has already registered this title with Producer’s Council and his film is also completed and will hit the screen next month.

He says that when he saw the poster with Ka Ka Ka Po, he was shocked and feels that this might create confusion among audiences and will affect the business prospects of his film. He also adds that his film is based on the famous line Ka Ka Ka Po from Imsai Arasan 23aam Pulikesi mouthed by Vadivelu. He also wishes that the Nalan film takes off the acronym from the title.
