Vijay talks about Kaththi

A R Murugadoss’s Kaththi with Vijay is making the right noises in the industry. The film is said to be doing very well in terms of collections. Vijay who was in Coimbatore to address a welfare event and also to celebrate the success of the film in a college was almost in tears when he spoke.


He said that although he has acted in many films, Kaththi will remain his favorite and important film as it had taught him a lot and had brought him closer to farmer’s plight in the country. He said, “Thanks to director Murugadoss, I understood the problems faced by the farming community and also about the reason for their suicides”.


“When there are many hospitals in a town, that means there are many patients there. Similarly when there are abundant loans being given, it means there are many poor people.
