Vijay thanks Chief Minister

Vijay’s Thalaivvaa is releasing today and the team is happy that finally the film is getting a release in Tamilnadu. Actor Vijay in a statement has thanked the Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa for taking time amidst her busy schedule to sort things out and help the release of the film.

Vijay in a statement said that the film was scheduled to release on August 9, but due to certain threats from miscreants, the film could not release. He and his fans were upset that the movie could not release.

He said that some news in the media added to the chaos. Thanks to the efforts of the Chief Minister the issue has been sorted, he added.

Vijay also thanked the fans who patiently waited for the film’s release and asked them to go and see the movie with their families.
