Vijay's Mersal gets a unique promotion

These days, it is very essential to not just make a good film but also to make it reach a wider audience. Vijay’s Mersal which is slated to release for this Diwali has taken up a unique method of promotion and the person who is involved in this is actress Vishakha Singh through her firm IconicBOT.

In association with her partners based in Vienna, she has developed the Iconicbot, designed to help celebrities stay in touch with their fans. She met Murali Ramawamy of Sri Thenandal Films, who’s producing Mersal, recently with a proposition for an App, which was accepted immediately.

Vishakha says, “It’s not really an App, but a messenger platform. This Chatbox Al on Facebook messenger lets actors send personalised posters to fans. Say, an actor has a fan page on Facebook... He can interact with fans personally, and the interactions will be private.
