May 20, 2016 JB

Piracy is quite rampant, especially in Tamil film industry. Recently there have been incidences when pirated copied of the latest films were screened in the buses plying in interstate and intercity routes. People had complained and actor Vishal had ensured that the respective people were brought to books.

In a recent media interaction, Vishal also locked horns with the Producer Council chief Thanu wondering why he is not taking any action. He also took to his microblogger to ask the same. He tweeted, “Baffled n puzzled y #dhanu sir pres of prod council doesn't wanna take action on concernd theatres caught regd piracy.but Wil nt stop”. “dis fite against piracy. Wil continue til v get justice.hope the prod council comes wit an explanation regd this.pathetic state”.

To this Thanu has replied that there is a lot of procedure involved in this and that there needs to be a written complaint and then they need to meet the government officials to file a complaint with the police. He also added that everything cannot be done overnight.
