Vishal was recently invited to unveil the audio of a Kannada film Raghuveera. He took on boldly the Cauvery issue in the launch meet and spoke in Tamil in the capacity of Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council’s (TFPC) President and Nadigar Sangam’s secretary.

Vishal started his speech in Tamil stating “Udal mannukku Uyir Tamzhikku” (The body for the soil and the soul for Tamil). He then said that he takes immense pride to speak in Tamil and nobody can stop him.

He added, “It is our right to ask for water and nobody can deny that. Since all are Indians, it is the duty of the Kannada people to protect the Tamils in the state and vice versa in Tamil Nadu. If Kannada producers come to Tamil Nadu to make any film, we would extend all the support and help from TFPC.” After the event, Vishal headed to Puneeth Rajkumar’s house to pay his respects to the latter’s late mother.
