Vishal's team Namma Ani wins in Producer Council Elections

Tamil Film Producers Council Election was held yesterday, the 2nd April at Kandasamy Naidu College, Anna Nagar, Chennai. Vishal’s Namma Ani emerged as the winner.

The result updates are- President- Vishal- 476 Votes (Winner); Vice President- Prakashraj - 408 Votes (Winner), Gautham Vasudev Menon - 357 Votes (Winner); Honorable Secretary- Kathiresan - 415 Votes (Winner); Treasurer- S.R.Prabhu -394 Votes (Winner).

On winning the elections, Vishal said, “It feels so great to be selected as the new President of the Producers Council. Thank you so much. The next two years, it is going to be the golden period of Tamil cinema. I thank Justice Mr.Rajeswaran sir, all the voters, all producers who came forward and believed in us. We are going to take Tamil Cinema forward. The Producers Council is going to witness a never before seen, historical change in the next two years. That is all I can say for now”.
