VJ Ramya bags Bronze in 5th Tamilnadu State Unequipped Benchpress competition

Apart from being a VJ, anchoring and acting, Ramya also has her passion towards power lifting. The pretty girl has now bagged a bronze medal in the fifth Tamilnadu state unequipped bench press competition.

“Hitting the platform with massive state level competitors is no easy business. But having said that, competing is a fantastic way to stay motivated and boost your confidence. I started at 27.5kg progressed to 32.5kg and attempted my last call at 35kg today. It was tough as there were so many this time, but I didn’t give up easy.

I went there, fought hard and took the bronze at the STATE LEVEL POWERLIFTING COMPETITION for BENCHPRESS. Though I have got qualified for Nationals, I want to take this slow and consistent, work harder, practice more before competing for my Nationals”, says Ramya.
