Awards season is on full swing! From Filmfare to Screen and Star Guild to what not - Bollywood walas are busy hopping around from one event to the other looking perfect to the T dressed in the most stylish ensembles.

When all eyes are on who wore what, ‘putting their best foot forward’ becomes a mandate for the stars.

While men slip into their best tuxedos, Bollywood beauties prefer to make a style statement in gorgeous gowns.

So, here are some of the most ravishing and bedazzling gown-moments straight from the red carpet…

Deepika Padukone

Everyone knows that Deepika outshone every contemporary to emerge as the all new queen bee of Bollywood.

And at the recently held Filmfare Awards, her bright and bedazzling future reflected in her Gaurav Gupta gown.

It was a gorgeous golden gown for Deepika, with strategically placed cut outs.

We loved it on her and how! Add to it the 80’s hairdo and the red pout and she was a head turner on the red carpet!

Priyanka Chopra

She’s one lady who rarely gets it wrong.

For the award night PC, picked up McQueen for the red carpet and gorgeous she looked.

From jewelery to hairdo, everything shouted perfection.

Kajol

This woman taken image makeover to a different level.

From being a careless dresser to one of the most well-dressed mommies of Bollywood, Kajol has come a long way.

For the awards night, Kajol opted for a Nandita Mahtani gown.

Not that we don’t like her. She looks stunning in the black and white number, if only she would have chosen something more elaborate to suit the event.

Shruti Hassan

Hale and hearty after her recent surgery, Shruti Hassan rocked the recently held Filmfare awards dressed in a black Gauri and Nayanika Gown.

The halter neck gown did everything to flatter her slvette figure, while the high knot was an intelligent choice considering the neckline.

What more? We loved her choice of red pout and Valliyan by Nitya earrings that completed her sexy look.

Vaani Kapoor

Shuddh Desi Romance babe, Vaani Kapoor appeared like a dream dressed in a Nikhil Thampi gown.

She looked mesmerizing in the cutout gown and Louboutins.

We also love those stack of bangles.

Soha Ali Khan

Apart from beau Kunal Khemu, it was a Fen Ferns strapless gown for Soha Ali Khan on the red carpet.

While the colour and the fit suited her to the T, if only she could have done something better with her hair.

Huma Qureshi

After many heart-breaking appearances, Ms.Qureshi impressed us with her latest gown outing.

The Dedh Ishqiya babe chose a Gauri and Nayanika gown with thigh high slit and ruffles for the occasion and looked gorgeous.

Swara Bhaskar

The Ranjhanaa star chose a Geisha Designs cape-let gown for the Filmfare awards night.

The lace gown in pastel shade looked elegant, but a dash of colour would have uplifted the mood of the dress as well as suited the event.

Even some rouge on the lips would have done the trick.

Swara completed the look with hair tied back and Renu Oberoi earrings.

Tamannah

Southern beauty, who made her Bollywood debut with the torturous Himmatwala attended the award night dressed in a red hot Gauri and Nayanika gown.

She looked breath-takingly sexy in the otherwise simple ensemble, which was uplifted by the right smokey make-up and puffed hairdo.

Sophie Choudry

This singing star is known for making stupendous appearances.

It’s a rarity that she gets it wrong and even in her last outing she looked stunning.

Recently, Sophie was spotted in an orange BCBG gown, which looked great when teamed up with diamond and emerald drop earrings and box clutch.

Pallavi Sharda

Before you ask Pallavi who? She’s the Besharam girl…err… leading lady of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Besharam.

So, at the awards night she chose a ABS by Allen Schwartz jersey gown.

While the front of the gown was simple, it was the plunging back that was an eye grabber, especially the zipper detailing.

Illeana D’Souza, who is seen on Mai Tera Hero posters these days, was spotted wearing a Pucci gown in black.

We didn’t find her impressive at all. She has done far better on earlier occasions.

The Mere Dad Ki Maruti gilr Rhea, looked stunning in the cobalt blue Sailex.

Even in this ensemble the magic lied at the back and the lady carried it off well too!

Aditi Rao Hydari

First word that comes out as we look at Aditi is – Black Swan! She chose a Gaura Gupta Couture gown for the do.

She completed the super shiny look with a up do and beaded silver head-band.

Only put off – those metallic sandals.

Richa Chaddha

Lady in red Richa looked supah hot in the Leger ruffled gown.

How we wish she could have done something about those ruffles and shoes.

Prachi Desai

Petite Prachi just lost her Jolie moment to hemline issues in this Swapnil Shinde gown.

Embellished bodice, thigh high slit and sheer paneled neckline - a lot was happening in the ensemble that took away the attention from Prachi.
