Who's Samoothiri in ‘Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham'?

With the release of film ‘Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham’ has been fixed on March 26, the interesting character posters of actors have started appearing on the film’s social media page. In one of the posters, the actor, who is donning the role of Samoothiri (Zamorin), was also unveiled.

It’s none other than the veteran actor Nedumudi Venu, who will be essaying the role of Samoothiri in the film.

Actors Mukesh and Innocent also will be appearing in different looks in this Mohanlal starrer film, directed by Priyadarshan. Actor Arjun Sarja will have an important character in this flick.

‘Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham’ is based on the true life of Kunjali Marakkar IV, who is the most popular of the Marakkars. Marakkar IV was the Muslim naval chief of the Samoothiri during the 16th century in Kerala.

Veteran filmmaker Fazil plays a pivotal role in this epic film, which also features Prabhu, Suneil Shetty, Manju Warrier, Keerthi Suresh, and Mukesh in key roles.

This big-budget movie is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor, Santhosh T. Kuruvilla and C.J. Roy. Thiru cranks the camera.
