Why Nayantara is not pregnant?

Unlike Vidya Balan in Kahaani, the heroine of its remake, Nayantara is not pregnant in the film. While the 'pregnant twist' is a major highlight in Kahaani,Sekhar Kammula the director of the remake totally ignored it. Many wondered why? Here is the explanation given by Sekhar Kammula regarding it to Tamil media.

“Kahaani had a brilliant script, but I didn't like the 'cheat element' in the film." He further added, " I don't want to cheat the audience by showing something which isn't true". We will have to see if Sekhar Kammula's gamble works! Click the Movie button below for more info:
