Will Anil Kapoor croon for Fanney Khan?

Recently, Anil Kapoor got us all excited when he gave us a sneak peak of his look from the much-awaited movie 'Fanney Khan’, which also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao.

Anil shared some pictures of him sporting a charming salt and pepper look on his social media and captioned one of them saying, “#FanneyKhan has many faces, but don't be fooled by his appearance...He's hiding a whole world of secrets under that silver hair!”

Reportedly, Anil will be seen playing the role of an unconventional father in this film, which is supposedly a remake of Dutch film ‘Everybody’s Famous’. What’s more Anil Kapoor will also be seen as an aspiring singer and the actor has decided to actually sing for this film.

In 1986 Subhash Ghai had asked Anil to sing alongside Poonam Dhillon, talking about this memory Anil said, “I began recording but it sounded horrible. So, I asked Subhashji to get the country’s best singer to croon instead and we got Kishore Kumar.”

And now the actor is all set to give singing another shot in ‘Fanney Khan’. Talking about the same the actor said, “I am going to give singing my best shot. My character is a failed singer and I have two songs to sing. But I will be the first to reject them if my voice is not up to the mark. The makers want the film to be as real as possible, which is why they want me to sing.”

Anil Kapoor has already started prepping to sing for ‘Fanney Khan’ and is doing his riyaz every morning for the same.

Anil Kapoor and the team will mostly wrap up the shoot of ‘Fanney Khan’ by October. The film also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as a diva singer with Rajkummar Rao playing her love interest and Divya Dutta who will be Anil Kapoor’s wife in the film. The film is directed by Atul Manjrekar and produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
