Will Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon to come together for Farzi?

Few years ago, back in 2014 director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK wanted to make a film titled 'Farzi'. However, the film never went beyond the scripting stage.

The project is reportedly back on track again and the directors have also finalised the leading man and lady for their film. According to reports Arjun Kapoor had been approached for the main lead in this film. A source has revealed that, “Arjun and the directors have had three meetings to discuss the film in the last one month and recently discussed the script too. The actor is yet to sign on the dotted line but will be on board soon. Raj and DK have been busy with promotions of their action film, the Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer, ‘A Gentleman’. Once they are done with that, they will take the discussions on the new film forward.”

Director Raj hasn't confirmed anything yet and was quoted saying, “We have been super busy with ‘A Gentleman’ so we haven't had time to sit on ‘Farzi’ yet. We should get to it early next month.”

Reports suggest that Kriti Sanon, who was last seen in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, has also been finalised as the leading lady of ‘Farzi.’

Previously it was reported that Shahid Kapoor was approached for this project, however, he did not like the script. As of now the reports state that Kriti Sanon and Arjun Kapoor will feature in the film. If the reports are true it will be the first time that Arjun and Kriti will be seen together on the big screen.

Currently directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are busy with their upcoming film 'A Gentleman' starring Siddharth Malhotra and Jaqueline Fernandes which will release on 25th August.
