Would love to do lead role in a Marathi film - Salman

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who played a small part in Riteish Deshmukh's Marathi film "Lai Bhaari", says he would like to do a lead role in a Marathi film.

He launched the music of Marathi film "Sanngto Aika...!" on Monday, and expressed his desire to feature in such movies.

When asked if he would do a lead role in a Marathi film, he said, "Oh definitely, I would love to do a lead role in a Marathi film."

Salman believes Marathi cinema has huge potential and has been ignored.

"I love Marathi cinema. It has been ignored for a very long time. This cinema can touch great heights and it is important to spread as much awareness as possible", he said.
