Yuvan Shankar Raja for Maari 2?

Maari 2 was announced recently with a regular announcement about its crew details. The film, a sequel of the one with the same name has Balaji Mohan as the director with Dhanush as the lead. Sai Pallavi, for the first time is teaming up with Dhanush and it has upped the expectation levels of the audience.

As of now, Tovino Thomas from Mollywood would be playing a baddie in the film and actor Krishna has also been signed. About this Krishna says that he is too excited to get this offer and is looking forward to work with Dhanush and Balaji Mohan, although he is a little tight lipped about his role.

Maari was well known for its chartbuster of music director Anirudh and when Maari 2 was announced, people expected that Anirudh will be on board. But it looks like Yuvan Shankar Raja will in most likelihood, sign this project. Yuvan had earlier worked with many films of Dhanush, the notable one being Pudhupettai, Kaadhal Kondein to name a few.
