Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja will be making his Hollywood debut through an animated feature film titled Woolfell. The project is being directed by a former VFX consultant Prabhakaran Hari Haran. He is also the great grandson of the legendary actor MR Radha. Hari Haran had earlier worked as an assistant in the special effects department in the Kamal Haasan-starrer Viswaroopam too.

He says, “Woolfell is an international political-action drama and is set in a futuristic hyper-utopian time. It is an action drama that portrays the relationship between a ruler and his son that brings about an understanding of true emotions and how it cannot be disregarded no matter however ahead of the time we are.”

Interestingly, Woolfell will have Kunal Rajan of Whiplash and Uttama Villain fame doing the sound designing. Hari states that he believes in making films for a wider audience, and hence chose not to do films in India. He also feels that his scripts can’t be done here owing to the budget issue.
