'I would announce my political plan on 31st December', Rajinikanth

Superstar Rajinikanth began his meeting and greeting his fans from today, the 26th December at Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam, Chennai, which is expected to go on for 5 more days till the 31st December. Today, he met his fans from Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri and the Nilgiris districts of Tamil Nadu.

When he addressed his fans, he said, “I am hesitant to enter politics as I am aware of the pitfalls. I am not new to politics, I know its depths. I have been watching politics closely since 1996. If I enter politics, I will have to win. For that, I will need a strategy". Pointing to his biceps and then his temple, he added: "Not this (muscle), but this (strategy)."

In May, Rajinikanth met his fans from 17 districts, including Cuddalore, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Chidambaram, Ramanathapuram, Dindigul and Sivaganga. During his meeting with fans in May, the superstar had said, "Let us face the war when it comes". The 67-year-old actor met some 1,000 fans across 18 districts today while announcing his decision on his likelihood to join politics which is expected on December 31st.
