96 is the title for Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha

Nadula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan was actually a story about the DoP of the film Premkumar, which amassed a lot of appreciation.

Now, Premkumar is going to try his hand in direction for the first time in a venture that would have Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in the leads. This film will be titled as 96. Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises will be producing this film.

The shoot is expected to start early next year. It is said that Trisha's role will be a powerful one that offers high scope for performance. Govind Menon, who has composed music for Oru Pakka Kadhai, is roped in to compose tunes for this romantic entertainer. Details regarding the rest of the cast and crew are awaited.
