Action hero Ajay Devgn to play Baba Ramdev?

It has either been action or comedy for Bollywood star Ajay Devgn and hence the news of the actor planning to play Baba Ramdev in a biopic based on the famous yoga guru comes as a surprise.

Previously it was reported that Ajay Devgn, who was last seen in ‘Shivaay’, will be producing a show based on Baba Ramdev’s life on the small screen. Vikrant Massey was supposed to play the role of Baba Ramdev in this television series.

However, after the young actor opted out of the project, reportedly Devgn himself stepped in and decided to play the role. What’s more the ‘Golmaal Again’ actor saw the potential of it turning into a big screen biopic.

A popular website was quoted a source saying, “Talks of doing a big screen biopic on Baba Ramdev gained credence only after Ajay Devgn decided to step in the role.”

Well, it will be indeed interesting to see this macho ‘Baadshaaho’ actor don the saffron robe for this particular act. That apart, Ajay has also the ‘Battle Of Sargarhi’, which is expected to go on floors soon.
