Anirudh's single Hola Amigo goes viral

Music composer Anirudh’s latest number Hola Amigo from the upcoming action horror flick Rum was released recently. Produced by Vijay Raghavendra and directed by Sai, Bharath M, Hrishikesh, Sanchita Shetty, Mia George, Narain and Vivekh play pivotal roles in this film.

Anirudh’s single has been getting a lot of attention from his fans online. Anirudh is the main singer while the lyrics are penned by Madhan Karky and Balan Kashmir has done the rap portions.

He posted a link to the song on Twitter and wrote, “Thank you guys for the madness. I know it’s been a 5-month wait! But I hope it was worth it! The icing on the cake was Grammy-award winner 2016 and one of the best DJs in the world Diplo tweeting about Hola Amigo.” Apparently, when Anirudh was in Cuba after his Canada tour, Anirudh heard the word ‘Hola’ a lot on the streets, and the word lingered on his mind throughout the trip which made him come up with the number.
