Anoop Menon shares screen space with Mohanlal

Anoop Menon shares screen space with Mohanlal in the upcoming action thriller ‘Kanal’. Both Mohanlal and Anoop Menon have equally important roles to perform.

Anoop Menon shared his happiness through his Facebook status:

“Glad to share with you the news that I will be teaming up with one of the greatest actors to grace the face of earth, our own MOHANLAL in a pivotal role for the film “KANAL" directed by padmakumar…I was so excited about it... I feel this mohanlal avatar is one we, his fans, were all waiting to see for a long time...and this will be the first time that I will be doing a full length role with him....loved both our roles....”

Mohanlal is seen in a different avatar in the movie as John David. 'Kanal' is directed by M Padmakumar and scripted by S Suresh Babu.

The tag line of the movie "Every end has an old beginning" makes it clear that 'Kanal' is a revenge story. The movie revolves around two people who get entrapped in Dubai during recession and later they get back to Kerala.

'Kanal' is produced by Abraham Mathew under the banner of Abam Movies. The lyrics by Madhu Vasudev are tuned by Ouseppachen. Vinod Illampilly is the cameraman.

Kochi, Munnar, Mysore, and Dubai are the locations.
