Arjun as Anandan in ‘Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham'

Actor Arjun Sarja will have an important character in the upcoming Mohanlal starrer ‘Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham’. The South Indian actor will essay the role Anandan, which was revealed from the film’s character poster. Arjun was last seen in Malayalam in Dileep starrer ‘Jack Daniel’.

‘Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham’ is based on the true life of Kunjali Marakkar IV, who is the most popular of the Marakkars. Marakkar IV was the Muslim naval chief of the Zamorin (Samoothiri) during the 16th century in Kerala.

Veteran filmmaker Fazil plays a pivotal role in this epic film, directed by Priyadarshan. The movie also features Prabhu, Suneil Shetty, Manju Warrier, Keerthi Suresh, and Mukesh in key roles.

This big budget movie is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor, Santhosh T. Kuruvilla and C.J. Roy. Thiru cranks the camera. The film is all set to reach the cinemas on March 26.
