Arjun to play villain for Vishal

Vishal’s last release was Kaththi Sandai, after which he is now busy with Producer Council election. He is also committed to Irumbu Thirai which would be produced by his home banner Vishal Film Factory and directed by debutant Mithran.

Earlier on Arya was supposed to play the baddie in this film but the actor opted out saying he was not keen to do this film. Now the talks are pointing to Action King Arjun who would be essaying the role of a baddie in this film.

Samantha is the heroine and Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer. The unit had started shooting and some important portions were canned a few days ago. George C Williams is the DoP and Ruben will be handling the cuts. Vishal had earlier worked as an assistant to Arjun when he directed a film called Vedham in 2001.
