Asif Ali in editor Bijith Bala's 'Nellikka'

Film editor Bijith Bala is all set to be an independent director. His debut movie is titled ‘Nellikka’. Asif Ali and Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni do the lead roles in ‘Nellikka’.

‘Nellikka’ is scripted by media person P R Arun. According to the director the title evokes nostalgic memories and the movie will be a family thriller which will always be remembered.

The movie is expected to start rolling from February last. The heroine is not yet decided. Bijibal is the music director.

Bijith Bala has been an editor in many films including Joy Mathew’s ‘Shutter’. He has worked as an editor for the movie ‘Kaliachen’ which won National award. He has also edited many films of Shajoon Karyaal and Siby Malayil.
