New Delhi, March 28 (IANS) Good news for Ajay Devgn fans who would get a chance to know their favourite actor and about his forthcoming action-drama "Himmatwala" through a smartphone application launched by UTV Stars.

The application is called Snap Search and fans need to click a picture of the "Himmatwala" poster using the application and it will get them instant access to the film's digital content, including interviews, gossips, tweets, images and even a chance to meet Ajay.

The fans can get to know the latest news on the movie and the actors.

"This app is very user-friendly and at the same time it is also an innovative approach to reach out to as many fans as possible with just one simple click and I personally think it is a brilliant concept," Ajay said in a statement.

"Technology today has encouraged our fans to come closer to us and with this my fans will be able to stay engaged and updated with the most fresh stories and news about my upcoming film," he added.

Directed by Sajid Khan, "Himmatwala", a remake of 1983 movie by the same name, also features Tammannah in the female lead role and will hit theatres Friday.
