In the upcoming film Boomerang directed by Kannan, Atharvaa Murali will be seen sporting three different looks in this film. The actor had to go through hours of toughness during the prosthetic makeover process. Shedding some lights upon this, filmmaker Kannan says, “When the script and characterization of Atharvaa were conceptualized, it demanded three different looks. Henceforth, we approached the most proficient award winning make-up technicians – Preetisheel Singh and Mark Troy D’Souza.

We initially wanted to fly down Mumbai for discuss and finalize the looks. But the relentless shoot of Atharvaa made us bring them here. They were here in Chennai for couple of days spending 12hrs to get the right looks. The measurement process was so unique that even the minutest detailing including shape of Atharvaa’s mouth was taken apart from eyes and nose. A kind of dough was applied to get the cast and Atharvaa had to keep himself confined to ‘Statue’ mode for 5 hours. The breathing became so much difficult that a tiny tube was attached to his nose to ease him up.”

Furthermore, Kannan utters that it will take nearly 30 days for the prosthetic cast to be done following which the shoot will go on full stretch. “Atharvaa used to tell that for hours during the process, he was completely unaware on what happened, but felt happy and excited for he is experiencing such thing for the first time,” adds ‘Boomerang’ director.
