'Canadian Tharavu' changed to 'Two Countries'

Shafi’s upcoming movie which was earlier reported to be titled ‘Canadian Tharavu’ is changed to ‘Two Countries’. The script is penned by Shafi’s brother Rafi.


Dileep, Mamta Mohandas, and Namitha Pramod do the lead roles. Mukesh, Aju Varghese, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Rafi, Srinda, Asokan, Shaju, Lena, Vinaya Prasad, and Bollywood actor Makarand Deshpande lend support.


‘Two Countries’ is a family entertainer which is expected to go on floors from August. A large part of the movie will be shot in Canada.


Dileep plays an easy going guy who marries a Canada based Malayali girl only to settle in Canada. ‘Two Countries’ is produced by Rajaputra Ranjith.


The movie is produced by Rajaputra Ranjith. Cinematographer Ravi K Chandar's son Santhana Krishnan cranks camera for the movie and the music is scored by Gopi Sunder.
