Catherine joins Rudrama Devi team

The latest buzz in Tollywood is that Catherine Tresa, who made her debut with Puri’s Idarammayilatho will be joining Gunasekhar’s magnum opus film Rudrama Devi.

Sources say that though it’s a small role, hers would be crucial to the film as she would be playing the love interest of Gona Gannareddy, one of the nobles of Rudrama Devi. It is being rumoured that Mahesh would be portraying the role of a warrior prince in the film and the makers needed a special girl for the role.

Sources say that Catherine has already started working on the film and a song is being planned on Anushka and her in this schedule. Officially it is yet to be confirmed regarding Mahesh’s presence in the film.

As already known Anushka plays the lead role of Rudrama Devi and Rana is playing the villain in the film.

Catherine is currently awaiting the release of Krishna Vamsi’s Paisa with Nani.
