Ceylon is Inam

Nov 1, 2013 SV

Ace cinematographer, director Santosh Sivan’s latest film Ceylon, being made in English, is being dubbed into Tamil and it is called Inam. The film is said to be a lighthearted take on the serious issues that are haunting the youngsters of Sri Lanka. The director has clarified that it has nothing to do with the politics of Sri Lanka or LTTE, but it is a look at the lives of adolescents. The film has been completed and has recently received U certificate from the censor board.

Unlike his earlier films, Urumi, The Terrorist and Asoka, Ceylon will be a film that an entire family can enjoy and it will also provide some food for thought. The first look and posters of the film are already attracting the attention of cine-buffs. Hero Aravind Swamy has lent his voice for certain portions of the movie.

Inam is edited by Suresh and Vishal Chandrashekar has composed the music.
