‘Darbar' in cinemas from January 9

Actor Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Darbar’ is all set to release on January 9. The film marks Rajini’s maiden collaboration with director AR Murugadoss.

Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Rajinikanth will don the police officer’s uniform after ‘Pandian’, which was released in 1992. It has cinematography by Santosh Sivan and editing by Sreekar Prasad.

It is the 167th film in Rajinikanth’s career.
