Dhanush-Karthik Subbaraj film titled ‘Jagame Thanthiram'

Actor Dhanush and filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj's film, which had been tentatively titled D40, has got a title now. The makers on Wednesday launched the motion poster of the film, titled ‘Jagame Thanthiram’.

The film, which is produced by Y Not Studios, is all set to hit the theatres on May 1. The motion poster, which runs for one minute and twenty seconds, looks classy.

The motion poster introduces the main characters played by Dhanush, ‘Game of Thrones’ actor James Cosmo, Kalaiyarasan and others. Malayalam actor Joju George is also seen in the motion poster. Incidentally, Karthik was the producer of Joju's Malayalam film 'Chola', which won several honours in film festival circuits.

Dhanush is introduced with an AK 47 on his back and two pistols on each hand in the poster. Santhosh Narayanan has composed music for the film, which is under post-production stage now. It looks like a solid gangster flick. The film is set in London. Click the Movie button below for more info:
