Dhanush not in the fray for Arjun Reddy remake

Telugu film Arjun Reddy is the talk of the town and the film has garnered huge applause from the audience and the critics alike. The film features Vijay Devarakonda who has become the toast of the film industry. Directed by Sandeep Vanga, Arjun Reddy is the tale of a young doctor who loses the love of his life and portrays the emotional ride he goes through post his break-up.

When a film is good, it is natural for the other industries to show interest and remake in the respective languages. Same thing was true for Arjun Reddy also and there were serious talks that Dhanush had bought the Tamil remake rights of the film and would be doing the titular role also.

But sources from Dhanush’s camp had clearly denied this and said that no such talks have been initiated. Earlier too, there were talks that the Polladhavan hero had bought the remake rights of the Hindi film Barfi but that also proved to be false.
