Dhanush sings a Marathi song for Ilayaraja

We all know that Dhanush is a multitalented personality and is good in whatever he takes up in the film making department. He is not just an accomplished actor but he is also a producer, director, lyricist and also a singer. He has a unique voice that adds much value to the song he renders. He also does not hide the fact that he is a great fan of maestro Ilayaraja.

Recently Ilayaraja sang for his son’s Yuvan composition in the film Maari 2 where Dhanush plays the hero. Now, as per the latest buzz, Dhanush has sung a Marathi song for Ilayaraja’s composition.

It must be noted that Ilaiyaraja has scored the music for Dhanush movies including Balu Mahendra’s Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam and Balki’s Shamitabh. When Dhanush ventured into production with the intense film Amma Kanakku, he brought on board Raja. It may be recalled that Raja remarked ‘Dhanush is a better singer than him’ during the felicitation ceremony for completing 1,000 films at Mumbai when the latter rendered two of Raja’s hits on stage.
