Dhanush's VIP 2 gets postponed

Dhanush’s VIP 2 which was slated to release for his birthday on the 28th of July, gets postponed. The information was given out by producer Kalaipuli Thanu on his official Twitter handle that reads, “I extend my regrets to inform all Dhanush sir fans and cinema lovers that VIP 2's release is being pushed to the first half of August due to inevitable reasons. Thanks for all the patience and understanding. Will announce the confirmed release date very soon."

To his disappointed fans, Dhanush tweeted, “Namakku release dhaan birthday :) #vip2 #verysoon”

Meanwhile the film had cleared the last hurdle of censor certification and it has been stamped with a U. Dhanush informed this with a “#vip2 is a clean "U" .. for all ages. Just like part one. #raghuvarancoming #verysoon”. Dhanush has also completed the shooting of his English film, the journey of the extraordinary Fakir”
